Watercolour Portraits
Watercolour can be unforgiving. Each mark is like a stain on the paper, and so it takes years of practice (and some secret skills), to create a painting that looks good, but more importantly captures the likeness of its subject and, of course their character and personality.
A typical watercolour will take between one to two weeks to produce. I will advise on the preferred composition and will often paint from photographs. You can find out more information on how to prepare and get the right photographs for your own watercolour here.
These watercolours vary in size, but they are typically between A4 and A0 in dimension.
